Tidewater Staffing hit a real milestone today. There was a site planning meeting to begin the construction of our training facility in Portsmouth. It has been a collaborative 3-year project with the cooperation of the City of Norfolk, City of Portsmouth, and Balicore through the pandemic to get us to the point where we will finally be able to begin construction next week!

Tidewater Staffing is a contingent labor provider in southeast Virginia focused on the ship repair, shipbuilding, logistics, and manufacturing sectors. TSI’s mission is to “Put people to work. Do the right thing every day.” This facility will house mock shipboard and warehouse environments to better prepare and upskill our workforce to meet the growing demands of Hampton Roads’ employers. This facility should be operational in early 2022.
