Tidewater Staffing is hiring experienced machinists for marine and industrial projects throughout the Hampton Roads area.

Candidates with experience in shipyards, machine shops, industrial maintenance, manufacturing, mechanical repair, or heavy equipment environments are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Perform machining, repair, fabrication, and maintenance work on mechanical components and equipment
• Operate machine shop tools and equipment safely and efficiently
• Read measurements, blueprints, drawings, and work instructions
• Assist with production, repair, and maintenance projects in industrial and marine environments
• Maintain quality standards and safe work practices at all times

Qualifications

• Previous machining or mechanical experience preferred
• Marine, industrial, manufacturing, or heavy mechanical backgrounds are a plus
• Ability to use precision measuring tools and shop equipment preferred
• Reliable work history and strong attention to detail required
• Ability to work overtime and production schedules as needed
